For those of you interested in presenting a paper at a conference, the Rocky Mountain Modern Language Association (RMMLA) is holding their fall conference at Snowbird Utah on October 8-10 of 2009.
There are many, many panels. This is the same conference many MSU graduate students went to last fall in Reno.

I have clicked on the link for RM/MLA CFP, but it will not open. My computer (both in my office and at home) says the pdf file is “damaged” and cannot be opened.
I would like to submit a proposal to a strand that deals with composition classes–specifically, my paper is about student identity and its influence on students’ interpretation of teacher feedback to their writing.
To whom may I send my proposal? Deadline is fast approaching, so I hope you can help me.

That is strange. I’ve checked the link, and it works for me on a public computer. Sorry to cause you stress.
If our link still doesn’t work for you, try pasting the following URL

into your web browser’s address bar. It is the RMMLA’s conference site. You should find everything you need there. Let us know if you continue to have problems!
